Good Bye to the Pacific Ocean! At least for this trip!

We are now on our way up the Oregon coast and it is COLD. There is usually a few hours a day when the weather is reasonable, but the rest of the day the warm air inland rises and pulls cold air off the ocean and over the coast. It is foggy. too! The sun might burn through the fog in the mid afternoon and give you a temp of about 70, or it might stay cold and foggy all day. On the plus side, the night time lows are only about 10-15 degrees cooler. Weather.com says the average high in July and August is 65 with a low of 52.

We are here in Depoe Bay to visit a friend from Arizona. Becky was a baseball volunteer like us and invited us to come visit her in Oregon.

This will be the last time we see the Pacific Ocean on this trip!
