Yep, it was Miss Jasmine's 1st birthday party and the kids went all out. They have been working on this for several weeks.

Larry built the booths, Tawnia made the cakes (her first cake ever, amazing!) and Tessa flew in from Canada to help with all of the festivities. They all did a fantastic job! Right down to the carnival music playing in the background. Everyone had a ball, young and old alike!

There was a tattoo booth (temporary ones of course), a cotton candy machine and a snow cone machine with lots of flavors. Nachos, popcorn, peanuts and hot dogs completed the fare. Tickets were mandatory for all food/drink purchases. So, ticket please!...

There were two photo 'booths' for picture taking. A choice of Jail or swimming with the sharks! Too cute...

Some might think 'why go to all of this work for a one year old? She'll never remember it anyway'. But the kids felt like this was not only a one year birthday celebration for her, but a celebration of her being in their lives for the past year, something they wanted to hold dear in their hearts forever. And the day was certainly a special one...hope you enjoy sharing in just a small part of it as well.
