Last one!

We have enjoyed our short stay in Coeur d'Alene. This is a beautiful city. We can see why Barbara Walters called Coeur d'Alene "a little slice of heaven," we agree.

Coeur d'Alene (pronounced by locals as "core da lane"), located in a remote part of the Idaho panhandle, is surrounded by a national forest and a 30-mile-long lake - but it's only 35 miles from the urban amenities of Spokane, WA.

We have had some very rainy weather, but we did get enough sun for a drive around the beautiful lake and a few cloudy pictures. :-) I was surprised when I zoomed in on some geese to find I also got a picture of a fox. He was digging for something in the ground. (see photos)

Tomorrow will be another travel day, we will be stopping somewhere in the middle of Washington for a couple of days, then we will travel to our final destination for the winter.
