This morning I headed out around 9:00 and arrived in Fredericksburg about 4:00. It was a long drive, so I stopped several times. There were lots of wildflowers along the way, mostly the yellow varieties with occasional little patches of other colors. I didn’t see any bluebonnets until I was almost to Fredericksburg.
Before going to the RV park, I called my cousin, Maxie Hoerster, to see if she and Dick could have dinner with me tonight. They were free to go. They picked me up at the RV park and took me to the Panda Chinese Restaurant. The food was good and the servings were gigantic – about right for a panda, I guess. :>) I brought home enough for at least two more meals.
