Happy Easter!

Well, as usual I am running behind in posting. So, I'll give you a quick update for now & backtrack in the next day or two.

We arrived in Vegas on Monday about 5pm. It was a pleasant although hot drive (in the 90's) which we knew ahead of time. And, the wind was blowing which we dislike very much! Our front landing gear is way up while we are here & it always makes us a bit nervous, especially since we slid off the blocks a few years ago & had to replace them. Believe me, all 4 tires are now chocked with wood chocks, no more running over the plastic ones, flattening them like pancakes!!!

Tuesday we visited with the kids for a couple of hours. We wanted to see them before Tawnia & the kids flew out on Wednesday morning. They are spending about 3 weeks visiting with Tawnia's family in Canada & are meeting the newest addition, Josiah who will be two months next week. Miss Jasmine & Levi are growing like weeds, both adorable & smart! Oh my, it's unbelievable what they know & say. Of course, all grandparents think that 'their' grandchildren are the cutest & the brightest, right??? LOL

Yesterday we spent a couple of hours with Bill, Cindy & Megan. It was good to see them again as well. Today we are going to Bailey's hockey game, looking forward to that. Then Sunday Jared, Ashley & Madison are coming to the house for Easter so we'll get to catch up with them after church. Friday afternoon we attended a Good Friday, Lord's Supper service at our church & it felt good to be home. We visited a cowboy church while in Deming & enjoyed it but we sure miss our home church when we're gone.

There is much to write about & plenty of photos to share but it's time to jump in the shower & get gone. So thanks for stopping by & please check back soon. Oh, have a great day too!
