Todays pics cover the final leg of our journey along NM 35 as we make our way back home after a fun day visiting the Gila Cliff Dwellings. As I mentioned earlier, this route is wayyyyyy less twisty & turny & much easier to navigate than NM 15 leading up from Silver City. It was quite scenic as well. Perhaps because we were a bit worn out from the hiking, warmer temperatures & lateness of the day. Anyway, it would be our choice both coming & going next time.

Along our way we passed a lovely lake, a couple of deer and a lovely home that had the cutest Hen House. Loved the tree trunk posts on the house as well. There were also nice rock formations along the way. We arrived at the Santa Rita Mine late in the day but managed to get a couple of interesting pics of it just before the sun went down. But I'll share more on that tomorrow. So, thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
