Last one!

We went exploring today and drove the fantastic Strait of Juan de Fuca National Scenic Byway. We stopped to photograph many of the coastal areas including Challam Bay and Sekiu Bay. We ended our drive at Neah Bay, home of the Makah Indian Reservation.

Clallam Bay and Sekiu (pronounced SEEK-you) are the fishing headquarters for the Strait of Juan de Fuca. They have a lot of charters for fishing for halibut and salmon plus whale watching, birdwatching and great sightseeing.

We saw several bald eagles and were hoping to see one of the rare albino ones that live in the area. We also walked part of the trail to view Cape Flattery. We gave out of time and plan a return trip to finish this one later. The trail was awesome, it leads to the most northwest point of the continental United States.

Talk about a Sunday drive, this one was incredible. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. More later from Washington.
