Still running way behind in posting but thought I would put up a few pics taken while out target shooting a few days back. John, Brad, Bonnie, Larry & I took 7 guns out. I haven't shot in quite some time & have only shot our 45 on one other occasion so it was time for a refresher course. I'm still learning but I love it! We had quite the arsenal with us, including: a Ruger 1911 model 45 caliber, and another 1911 style 45 caliber; a Springfield Arms 40 caliber; Bond Ranger II 45/410; my Ruger LC 9 model 9mm; Browning 1911 model 22 caliber; and a single action 22 revolver. We shot the heck out of those paper plates!

Afterward we hiked back down the dry wash & climbed up the hill to see a few of the local petroglyphs. Many are still in remarkably good shape even with all of the weathering. There is a pretty view from up there too & we could see Hidden valley Ranch off in the distance. It was a fun day for sure. One of many we've had recently!
