Our last stop of the day

Last one!

Today we visited the Dungeness River Audubon Center at Railroad Bridge Park. This was not our first visit, we have been about three times since we arrived in Sequim. I totally forgot to do a blog about it. Today I wanted to pick up the Christmas count of birds seen in the area. It is amazing to find that only 56 Anna's hummingbirds have been noted and we have three at our feeder.

We visited way back in November when they had a nature festival with lots of owls and more. I am adding some of those pictures for you to see too. After visiting the Audubon Center we stopped in Sequim for some special locally made lavender soap. There are lavender farms all over the area. I would love to be here when they are all in bloom. Even the stores smell wonderful.

We hope you enjoy the pictures. We are really enjoying our stay in this beautiful area.
