|After leaving the campground we head down to Saint John to the Irving Ecological Centre at Saint John. We stop for lunch at Saint John. We head out to the beach, warm but fog rolling in from the sea. We look amongst the rock pools but we find nothing of interest. The pools seem to be fed from freshwater runoffs from the headland.
We return to the same campground at Harding’s Point. This time we cross the river on the other ferry as the first one available doesn’t have enough room for us.
We go swimming and watch the fog roll into the campsite as we swim. Today the water seems warmer, or is the air just cooler?
BBQ in the evening and a hot fire to keep us warm as the fog lingers until we go to sleep.
