This morning Carolyn Nottleson came to get me and we went to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. We spent about three hours walking around the gardens and visiting the McDermott Learning Center to see Shou Ping’s beautiful paper art works. It’s just about impossible to get good photos of her art because of reflections in the glass from all the windows in the center.
After our walk, we went to the Wildflower Café for lunch – or, maybe I should say “I” went to lunch. Carolyn couldn’t eat anything solid today because she is preparing for the wonderful experience tomorrow of a colonoscopy. Ugh! She said that she wouldn’t feel as though I was torturing her by eating in front of her.
