We had 5 days in Cody, and could have probably done a couple more. We went to the Buffalo Bill Cody Musical Show, which was pretty good but sometimes looked like a high school musical. The day we rode Beartooth Pass was definitely the highlight on the stay. It was absolutely beautiful, weather was gorgeous and we got to see some more wild life along the way. We stopped briefly at the Top Of The World Store, but couldn't stand the mosquitoes and headed back out quickly. We stopped in Red Lodge where they had just had a pretty big Bike Rally the day before. There were still a of bikes in town, as is becoming commonplace as we get closer to Sturgis.
Of course when you visit the Rodeo Capitol of the World you have to go to a rodeo, which is not difficult since they hold one nightly. It was probably the best value we got on the trip. I think the regular adult was 21 bucks, but the military rate was $5.50 each, and beers were 4 bucks. We completed our stay by witnessing the gun fight in the street outside the Irma Hotel.
