Our 17-ton motorhome just doesn't...

I 25 fifteen miles south of Albuquerque
What urban sprawl?

Sandi's burrito @ Taco Cabaña smothered with green chilis

Sun, 07 May: A short drive today...

Today was a short driving day, a mere 85 miles. We took our time getting up and getting ready for the road. Once all was Okey Dokey Sandi rolled wheels a few minutes after nine. A short drive along NM 380 to the I 25 on ramp (a very short on ramp, see pix) and north toward Albuquerque.

South of the I 25/I 40 interchange we exited, then east a tad to the Albuquerque Elks Lodge where we settled into a 30 amp site. Today's 85 miles yielded a fuel economy of 8½ mpg.

We're planning to spend a few days in Albuquerque. The food here is as good as anyplace we know, especially the Mexican food. To celebrate being in town we lunched at Taco Cabaña. As great as always, especially their big pot of green chili stew on the condiment table.

Stay tuned...
