wonder how many people notice this lizard?

not a saloon, but a motorcycle sales shop!

This park is much better than the last one I stayed at and that's not saying much! I paid $22 per night in Cordele and that was half price! I don't understand why the cost - I had to move because the electric wasn't working at the spot they gave me and it was only 30 amp without an on/off switch. Anyway, I spent 4 nights here, so I had some reading time, letterboxing time, and errand running time.

The park is near the Withlacoochee River and the 46 mile Rail To Trail Park. I rode about 15 miles of it while looking for letterboxes and it was so much better with a straightened out and greased back wheel! It also helped that the trail was mostly level (the only way to ride!). I found a small scorpion, a red-shouldered hawk up close, two gopher tortoises, and beautiful giant live oak trees full of spanish moss. Floral City is small but eclectic - reminds me of Matlacha, one the way to Sanibel.

I saw that there are lots of other parks, waterways, and places for me to enjoy nature, so I will try to remember to stop here more often.
