What a busy day!

Today was jam packed, we made up for our subpar rainy cold day yesterday. Today it was still freezing and cold/dreary but we made the most of our day. Our first adventure today was trying to take public transportation. If you remember yes today we purchased 2 day Metro tickets, so today we decided to activate them to decrease the amount of time spent out in the elements. I am happy to report we successfully made it to Notre Dame on the first try. Here are some pictures from our visit there,

. After leaving Notre Dame we boarded the RER train again and hopped off at the Musee D'Orsay stop. Here's what the building looks like

the building was once an old train station, like Terminal Tower. We were able to see Van Gogh's self portrait, a few of Monet's paintings, some sculptures by Rodin and many others. Unfortunately we were able to sneak any pictures inside as the museum has a no photography policy. Our trusty museum pass did however allow us to cut the line, we were able to see all of the art we wanted to see in about a hour and 15 minutes. We then decided to walk to Ralph's as opposed to taking the train, it would have taken more time. We arrived at the Ralph Lauren store in just enough time to be seated for lunch at Ralph's. We both ordered Lobster Salads, delicious!

. Our next and final stop of the day was to visit "little Napoleon" at the Hotel des Invalides. We also hoofed it there too, it was easiest and only took 18 minutes.

. What a day!

we managed to avoid any rain while we were out, we did still managed to walk over 15k steps! Tomorrow is our last full day and we have plans to make it count! Stay tuned!
