Rancho Seco18 April - I was up at 5 this morning and headed for the Rancho Seco Recreational Area by 7 where I met some of my fellow walkers around 8 to set up for the days AVA events. I was scheduled to help with the BBQ at 10ish so I had just enough time to do the 7 mile hike before my shift. It was a wonderful walk and picnic. We estimated around 100 walkers and 60 picnickers joined us for the day‘s events. I drove to the Jackson Walmart about 25 miles away to park for the night.
