Back in Gardiner..

Last one, the Roosevelt Arch in Gardiner..

We spent the whole day in Yellowstone National Park. We wanted to explore it from the North Entrance this time. Our goal was to drive to Lamar Valley and see as much wildlife as possible with tons of beautiful scenery along the way. We were not disappointed, we saw herds of buffalo crossing the roads with literally hundreds of babies. we have never seen so many buffalo babies at one time. We also saw two baby bear cubs, what a treat. Tons of elk and antelope and much more.

It was an awesome day for wildlife as well as beautiful mountains and rivers and scenery. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. I am not adding captions to the pictures this time unless needed. Most speak for themselves. We bought sandwiches at the Subway in Gardiner and took with us for a perfect picnic in the park too. It was wonderful to have a full day in the park and have a hotel close by to drive back to. We have been driving into the park from Jackson which is a 50-mile drive each way. We enjoyed our full day in the park and hope you enjoy all the critters.
