Usually we stay at Valley of the Rogue State Park but we decided to try Bridgeview this time. It is right on the river and most of the sites would be tight for a rig our size. However when I called, since we didn't need sewer, the owner, Georgia, said she would put us in "dry dock".
Well dry dock turned out to be the parking lot right outside the office. And we were not alone there. Al, Georgia's husband, took our 50 amp plug and water hose over the hill down to the regular level of the sites and plugged us in.
Al and Georgia were a unique couple, aging hippies; he with his pony tail and her lacking several teeth. But delightful and very, very helpful.
