After an, as always, fine visit w/ Daphne & John, we head S. into a country we still, tho grudgingly (when will politicians quit w/ the lies, hmm?!...you call this change, Mr. President?), call our own.
Our drive down across the border (fellow at the US customs was from Wisconsin Dells!), was most exciting in the snowstorm...saw at least half dozen vehicles in the ditches along the way the first 40+ miles. Even saw a van attempt a turn just 2 cars ahead at one point and we watched him just drive off the road and slide into the woods, amazing!
Got here on dry roads once we were past Bellingham, WA by 5 pm met very cordially by Curt & Linda and a catchup from our stay this past summer. We'll be here 'til Wednesday...Curtis is in a 'recovery/rest' period from his World Duathalon competition in N. Carolina this past fall where he happily placed 10th in his age division (he was the oldest one).
