We're in Dallas now on our way to Santiago, after a 2 hour flight from O'Hare. Luckily our upgrade to business class went through (at the last possible minute), which will make the 11 hour overnight flight to Santiago a lot more pleasant. American Airlines is in the process of upgrading their business class seats to "lie flat" seats, which are supposedly much more comfortable to sleep in. We're hoping our 767 will have these new seats, though even the old ones are much more comfortable than coach.

The overnight flight leaves Dallas at 9 pm and arrives in Santiago the next morning. The time change is only a couple of hours, which makes overnight flights to South America much more pleasant than those to Europe.
