Thu, 01 Jan: Happy New Year to All!

We are still in Casa Grande. We "rang in" 2015 by watching the "ball" drop in Times Square and headed to bed shortly thereafter. Since New York is two hours ahead of Arizona, that meant we were snug in our beds by 10:30 local time.

It has been quite cold in Arizona and the forecast is for even colder. Overnite lows are in the low thirties and we've really been going thru the propane. Still cheaper to heat the coach than a big ole house.

Fri, 09 Jan: A cold, yet busy week...

The first week of 2015 will be remembered by we Arizona winter visitors as a cold one. We had four nites in a row with temps in the high twenties and a few more right around freezing. We were using propane at a prodigious rate, consuming two tank fulls (7 gallons/tank fill) since the first. Thankfully, the normally gorgeous Arizona weather has returned and we're back in shorts with the windows open.

Sandi has been busy since the first. She sits on the cooperative's Budget Committee, and there was a press to get the 2015 budget in place so the Board can act on it. That happened earlier this week so that job is behind her. She's not too certain that she'll do it again next year.

We took delivery of our latest toy, a Syma X5C quadcopter drone. It is an inexpensive drone, but it does come equipped with both video and still cameras. Of course, the wind blew like the dickens but today we got her out and in the air. We got some preliminary pix and have posted them to the pix section of this Journal. Enjoy!

Our plans are in place for our Quartzsite trip. We'll depart RoVer's Roost Wednesday and stay in Quartzsite a week or so. Back here for some additional "Roosting".

We also booked our next cruise, 2016 round trip Fort Lauderdale to the Med. It is 55 days aboard the ms Prinsendam, our favorite ship.

Well, that brings us current for now...
