We made it home on the day with the nicest weather our town has had since last October - bright blue skies, no wind, temps in the 60º's. It was a pleasure to unload the rig under such conditions. Every so often our work was interrupted by neighbors passing by. It was great to see them and begin catching up.
All the snow has melted, but we are reminded again and again how lucky we were to be away on one of the worst winters ever. And Arizona was the right choice this year. We have never spent a winter with day after day of sunshine and comfortable temperatures.
It's great to be home, but the bucket list is long so we'll be off to Japan the end of May when we'll be sharing travel adventures once again.
