Branson, Here We Come! Oct 21, 2007

Our bus arrived at the Lubbock location early this morning. We loaded the majority of our folks there, then headed to Littlefield where we loaded up our last 6 travelers. After a brief restroom stop, we were on the road. We arrived in Amarillo at the Big Texan just a little early. While they were getting ready for us, we all browsed the gift shop and took a peak at their live rattlesnake!

After a hearty barbeque lunch with all the trimmings at the Big Texan, we were on our way again, heading for our overnight stop in Oklahoma City. Once we arrived in OKC, we headed to brick town (their revitalized downtown area) where we had reservations at Jazz Mo's, a wonderful french cajun restaurant. We were all completely stuffed after our dinner. Everyone was ready to collect our room keys at the Best Western Saddleback Inn. They had some punch and cookies ready for us that we enjoyed before retiring for the night.
