Last one, our ferry back to Washington..

I am so far behind on updates. This one will cover our 55th Anniversary where we spent five days in Brentwood Bay, Victoria, Canada.

We were supposed to go a couple of days before our anniversary on the 4th but we found out the ferry to take us to Victoria was closed for maintenance. The only other way to go early was to drive to Seattle and take a ferry from there, we decided to go on the 8th instead.

We took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, it took about an hour and a half to cross over. Once we arrived in Victoria we were only about 15 minutes to Brentwood Bay. The suite was just as advertised, we loved it. It is located right on the water and has a huge jacuzzi tub with a fireplace and most of all room service. We love having a tub and room service so much because we can’t have them in our RV. We were perfectly spoiled for five days at the resort with a beautiful balcony overlooking the water. We watched boats and ferries leaving the marina outside our window and enjoyed the beauty surrounding us. It was one of the most relaxing anniversaries we have had.

We had dinner at a most unique New Orleans style restaurant called the Blue Bayou. I am adding lots of pictures if you are ever in the area this restaurant is incredible. We took the ferry back to Sequim on the 13th. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Check back later for more from Washington.
