An hour in London? Yes, we are that committed to cramming as much into our holiday as possible. We had a four hour hour stop over in London on our way to Lisbon, Portugal. We took an express train to the Paddington Station and had a lovely afternoon exploring the streets of Westiminster district. A pint of beer and a fantastic lunch at a pub right across St. Mary's Hopspital where Sir Alexander Flemming discouvered penicilin was the highlight of our hour. We loved it - instead of a long wait at the airport it was wonderful to strall around London, even if it was for just an hour.
