Although I have been on longer flighs, I thought my trip to Florence might never end. An hour and a half in Chicago (in Terminal 5; a separate building which requires you to re-enter through security), three hours in Milan (now officially Milano), and the worst laid-out baggage claim I have ever seen in Florence (now Firenze) led me to believe that I would never actually arrive at my hotel. I am here now, however, and after exploring the small area around me, I have already fallen in love. Great food, good wine, and friendly faces are to be found everywhere- just my kind of place. I miss you all, and can't wait ti hear from you. Love, Jess :)
