Thank you for your prompt response. Your suggestions are very helpful, expecially about the size of an RV and driving in NZ. How far in advance should we make reservations? If you have any more resources to suggest, I would appreciate hearing about them.

I didn't need to know about all those ways to die! Crocs, snakes, sharks, spiders, etc..... Lions and tigers and bears sound good compared to that.
