OMGoodness...What have I gotten myself into?? Five months without the comfort of my bed and bathroom...with only one bag containing all my prize possessions (tooth brush and tooth paste) and no Momma Luis's yummy dinners to look forward to...Momma was right I am CRAZY.

Anywho, for the next 5 months I plan to up keep this travel journal to keep in touch with those at home. However, I do have a tendency to procrastinate...so I will apologize now for any super late entries. Since trouble tends to creep up on me from time to time, I'm sure this travel journal will turn into 'what not to do in a foreign country...' Although I like pickles, I hopefully will stay out of them.

I will get homesick...I'll keep in mind all the things I'll be missing from home...-40 degree temperatures...shoveling...attempting to start up the car...calling someone to come give the car a boost...finally getting the car started and then getting it stuck in the snow...snow... and more snow. Ok...I'll miss winter...but what I’ll really miss are my friends and family:)
