November 2008 - May 2009

Over the many years of our marriage, Anil and I have had to make trips to India to visit family as it was almost impossible for them to visit us. As the years progressed, we were able to make stops along the way to India or on the way home and see some of the other countries in Asia. We fell in love with the region and concentrated our travels in the first and second years of our retirement on places we had not seen before.

Now, it was time to head south of the Rio Grande for the first time in our lives. We were looking forward to seeing more of North America, a whole new continent and to learning some Spanish along the way. Our travels presented us with wonderful sights, amazing foods and unexpected delights.

If you are interested any of our previous journals that describe trips to India, China, Vietnam and Cambodia, please use the drop-down menu at the top right-hand corner of this homepage to access them.

Cheers! Vicki and Anil
