Home Sweet RV - 2010 |
|
How Time Flies……Three Years Of This Lifestyle Now Behind Us!
This 3rd year of retirement and living the RV lifestyle saw us tow our “Home Sweet RV” the most miles yet in a year with 7,476. It also had us drive in, out and through 16 states of which 6 were new to our travels…….California, Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, Ohio & Indiana. We also called 37 different parks home for anywhere from a one night stand to a month’s long stay.
Have to confess that for this “new” yearly journal format, 2010 will be ending 6 calendar days short! Leaving the day after Christmas heading west once again to Mesa, AZ, makes it feel like our 2010 travels should come to a close and our 2011 journey should begin.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to all those who follow our journal whether it be on a regular basis or the occasional look to check out what is going on. We attempt to describe the many beautiful, historical, unusual or outstanding things we find traveling the Interstates and rural back roads of this country in story and photos so that we can look back on this exciting time in our lives & relive all the wonderful moments in our travels. Having family, friends and other faithful readers show interest in our travel journal is “icing on the cake” and again we say “Thank You”!
