BTW - I'm surviving 'homelessness' quite well. I've alternated time at the cabin with time in the Bay Area doing some consulting, with time at Davis visiting my daughter, with time in Sweden visiting the sick.
The next adventure involves revisiting the Caribbean. Last time I used a cruise ship as a base and got to see a wide variety of places (mostly resembling a hot and humid outlet mall - but not exclusively). This time I'll spend much more time on the ground, in the air, on ferries, and in places where cruise ships don't go. I'm looking for another perspective to add to my already overcrowded and increasingly senile brain.
