Freedom 2 Roll

Welcome to our trip journal! Our dream began in 2005. We were both working hard at our different careers and suddenly life dealt us a blow that made us both stop and question where we were going and why. This is when the fulltime dream began for us. Our timing was off and that dream had to be put on hold. In 2007 we began to dream again. This time the economics of the country and the housing market dealt us a significant set back. It would have been so easy to just give up and settle in the traditional life. We actually tried that but the dream just wouldn’t go away so once again we listed our house and began to dream. This time we held fast to our goal and over the course of two years our house finally sold and we will be fulltimers on August 18, 2009 . We will be making this journey in our 2003 Dutch Star motorhome and pulling our Jeep Wrangler for side trips and fun. We both love the great outdoors and can’t wait to explore and experience this great country.
