Fly fishing is my passion, second only to God, Kay, and our kids. Kay and I live in Norfork, Arkansas, within walking distance of the Norfork River, one of the world's great tailwaters. I particularly enjoy fishing with old friends, and making new friends on the water. I started keeping a journal several years ago, and have tried, as best as possible, to keep an accurate record of each day fished. Unfortunately, this journal sometimes gets in the wrong hands, and many tried and true flies have been fished so much that they are no longer viable. Consequently, you may notice that new flies have been created, with creative names. If you desire the pattern, send a personal email and the "Committee" will review your application to determine if you're worthy to tie and fish the pattern.
Please enjoy the journal, and remember that fish are too valuable to be caught just once. Throw 'em back in and let someone else catch 'em.
