Elena and Matt's Journey 2008

Our trip back to Australia is now complete. We did a good half of it by land, and what an amazing journey it was. The Croatian villages and the crystal clear waters were refreshing and pristine. Slovenia's mountains gave us a chance to do some hiking and cycling and enjoy the mountain life. The Trans-Siberian journey was fantastic, not only riding the train but meeting locals, staying in gers in Mongolia out in the vast landscape of the steppe, going to the funny and cool Moscow circus.

It's good to be back home and back to family and friends. I went for a drive with Dad a couple of days ago up in Qld and we went past the beautiful beaches and drove through a bush full of gum trees, and it brought a smile to my face knowing I was back home.
