A quick update from the Geezer Traveler or, as he is known in some quarters - that senile old guy with the backpack.
I was back from the Mediterranean for less than a month (actually about 36 hours) when it became clear I wasn't adjusting well to life at home. While extended therapy might have served to resolve (some of) my (many) issues, instead I chose to go on my first cruise. I'm still not sure this was a good idea, but I do seem to be better now.
Whatever floats your boat, I guess.
