Campbell's Ft. Myers/Sanibel Island Trip Feb. 2011 |

Welcome to our trip journal of our trip to Fort Myers Beach, Florida and nearby Sanibel Island. We will travel on Feb. 20 and return on Feb. 27 to Leesburg.
This will be a test trip of our new RV components before we head north in May for 5 months to visit parents in Mundelein, IL, family and friends in Lancaster, PA and camp for 3 months near Bar Harbor, Maine.
The new RV components include two new Dexter axles with disc brakes, a new Prodigy 2 RV brake controller, 5 new tires, a new living room Carrier A/C unit and a new bath exhaust fan.
Sanibel Island is suppose to be one of nicest beaches in Florida and is known as a great place to find nice shells.
Update: Nice beach with millions of shells, very small though.
