Tom and I loved to travel. We visited Europe on many occasions - even took a cooking class in Tuscany ! Tom went to Japan multiple times on business and the two of us explored western Canada, Hawaii and Alaska . We took many vacations in different parts of the continental US and always wished we had more time to explore. Upon retirement, we bought an RV and traveled the country extensively for two and a half years making so many wonderful memories most of which are documented in this journal. I explore on my own now having lost my best friend in January of 2010 - life is different but still interesting if I take the time to look in the right places. The most valuable constant in my life are my boys, my extended family and my dear and ever growing list of friends. Thank goodness for cell phones, computers, and OnStar - they help keep me "On The Road".
