Bah Hahbah Or Bust!
Welcome to our 2009 trip journal!
We are on our way - kinda. Today is Friday, 1 May 2009, and we are in Van Buren, AK. We will be here till Monday visiting with our daughter, Denise, and her family. This will be a short visit as the girls are still in school and Denise and Larry are working. This weekend Denise has NG drill. It is their Family Day, so we will be going to the base tomorrow with the girls to join the festivities. Then, Monday we will head East. First stop will be Little Rock to get some more repairs on the trailer.
We left 25 Apr 2009 and did make it to Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX, for Denise's graduation from tech school. And, we have had rain every day since. And, the humidity!!! Well, we knew what we were in for, so I guess we can't complain.
Meanwhile, I have to replace things I forgot: like the cable to take the pictures off my camera!! So, maybe by the time we leave Little Rock next week we will be organized and on track.
