North to Alaska, Summer 2009 |
Welcome to our North to Alaska, Summer 2009 trip journal capturing memories of our trip exploring the Yukon and Alaska! This trip has been in the planning phase for 3 years. Through a quirk of fate, we joined a Gulf Stream caravan, even though we had a Jayco brand, and they treated us great, as equals. We met other members of the caravan in Great Falls, MT, on July 1, 2009, had a pre-trip moving rally to Dawson Creek, BC, then began a 58-day journey through BC, the Yukon, Alaska, back through the Yukon and BC, ending in Prince George, BC, on September 3, 2009. We met and traveled with many wonderful people, saw sights of a lifetime, and were awed by the overall experience.
