Janice and Larry go overlanding by truck around South America.
We are taking an overland trip around South America. We are travelling on a specially adapted overland truck with 22 other travellers. The journey will take three months from February 5th to May 5th. You can see our trip in more detail in the itinerary section.
Larry and I first met on a similar overland trip in 1990 going from London to Katmandu. This was my first overland but Larry's second. He had gone with Hobo TransAfrica the year before across Africa. In between then and now we have independantly travelled for six months at a time across South East Asia and Australia, every three or four years but we always wanted to go on another overland truck and we really wanted that to be around South America. Finally we have got round to doing it, so watch this space and we will keep you updated on where we are, and what we are doing. It's got to be better than getting the odd postcard.
